JK's Story

During my college years, I played soccer at SIUE while getting my undergraduate degree in Exercise & Wellness. A few years after I got my undergrad, I went back to SIUE for a graduate assistantship in Strength & Conditioning while pursuing my Masters in Kinesiology. During that time, I worked with multiple athletic teams to develop and implement training programs to enhance performance, reduce risk of injury, and improve speed, power and endurance. 

That's when I really found my passion for helping people grow into the strongest versions of themselves. Since then, I have worked with groups and individuals in order to improve quality of life, what that may mean to that specific person. My philosophy is simple: begin where you are and see where you can go. 

I truly believe that exercise should be purposeful, progressive, and sustainable, helping clients build strength, resilience, and confidence at every stage of life. 

With an evidence-based approach and an encouraging style, I am committed to helping people move better, feel stronger, and perform at their highest unlocked potential.
